Senior Frontend Developer – Interactive Data Tables (UK - Remote)

Position Summary: We’re looking for a highly skilled Frontend Developer to join our engineering organization and lead the development of our modern UI platform. This role is part of our UI Platform Engineering team and will focus on building robust and high-performance data table experiences within our app framework. What You’ll Do: -Develop reusable UI components based on specifications provided in Figma, using the Lit framework -Enhance and maintain core application architecture currently built with Ember.js -Collaborate closely with UX designers and engineering peers to make key technical decisions -Deliver complete features from idea to deployment, including comprehensive test coverage -Independently tackle items from a prioritized backlog of tasks and bugs What We’re Looking For: -5+ years of experience in frontend engineering -Strong background in JavaScript and TypeScript -Expertise in modular UI design and component-driven architecture -Solid understanding of semantic HTML and modern CSS -Demonstrated ability to build scalable and maintainable frontend solutions -Familiarity with build tools and automated testing practices Nice-to-Have Skills: -Hands-on experience with Lit or similar Web Component libraries -Prior work with Ember.js -Familiarity with AG Grid or similar data grid libraries -Understanding of metadata-based UI generation -Skills in optimizing performance and ensuring cross-browser reliability Technical Stack: -JavaScript / TypeScript (advanced) -Lit / Web Components -HTML5 / CSS3 -Git (version control) -Testing tools such as Playwright or equivalent
