About the Role
We are looking for a Salesforce Developer who is passionate about leveraging native configuration capabilities (approximately 90% of the workload) while also handling occasional custom coding in Apex (about 10%). This opportunity is ideal for an entry-to-mid-level professional who enjoys problem-solving with out-of-the-box Salesforce features and is comfortable diving into code when required. You will collaborate with a global team in an Agile environment to ensure timely delivery of both configuration and development tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Salesforce Configuration (Primary)
• Configure and customize Salesforce objects, flows, validation rules, and permissions.
• Manage user profiles, roles, and security settings in line with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
2. Apex Development (Secondary)
• Write, test, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, and pages when a configuration-only solution is insufficient.
• Troubleshoot and resolve coding issues, ensuring top-tier performance and reliability.
• Occasionally address coding tickets that require custom logic.
3. Collaboration & Communication
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Communicate clearly in English with team members, clarifying requirements and providing progress updates.
• Adhere to best practices for version control and continuous integration/deployment.
4. Maintenance & Support
• Provide ongoing support for existing Salesforce instances.
• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements or refinements.
• Maintain thorough documentation to keep system knowledge current.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration and basic Apex development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Proficiency with Flows, Validation Rules, Security/Sharing Settings, etc.
• Basic to intermediate Apex development skills (triggers, classes, test methods).
Salesforce Certifications (at least one preferred):
• Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
Nice-to-HaveSkills:
• Understanding of Salesforce Lightning Experience and common Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
• General knowledge of Java or other OOP languages.
Soft Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work from 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST (overlap with UK business hours).
• A positive, collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
